How much of what fills our days is genuinely nourishing us, and how much of it is helping us avoid what we don’t want to feel?
We live with almost constant stimulation. There’s always more work, another notification, something to watch, someone to speak to, or even another healing practice to try. But Linda Schneider believes that busyness, entertainment, and even spirituality itself can become a way of running from the pain we’ve suppressed.
Linda is a curandera, Slavic medicine woman, and independent mentor for conscious human development. For more than 20 years, she has helped people uncover the deeper patterns beneath unhappiness, disconnection, illness, and recurring life challenges. Her work brings together the mind, heart, spirit, and body to help people uncover the deeper patterns beneath recurring challenges and return to their own inner center. Linda’s professional background also includes physical therapy, kinesiology, and plant-based healing.
Working with individuals and groups internationally, she supports people in reconnecting with their personal sovereignty, taking responsibility for their lives, and creating change without becoming dependent on an external authority.
In this conversation, Linda offers a direct and sometimes confronting perspective on what healing actually requires. She explains why wholeness can’t be built by pursuing only what feels positive, why our fear of darkness keeps essential parts of us out of reach, and what becomes possible when we stop abandoning ourselves.
This isn’t a conversation about finding another quick exercise or performing a more spiritual version of ourselves. It’s an invitation to become still enough to meet what’s already there.
Topics Discussed:

- The seemingly positive habits that can quietly become another form of avoidance
- What most approaches to healing miss when they separate the mind, heart, spirit, and body
- Why staring at a blank wall could reveal more than adding another healing practice
- The hidden cost of pursuing the light while remaining afraid of the dark
- What “fake light” looks like and why Linda believes it can be more dangerous than openly destructive behavior
- The simple five-circle exercise that can reveal how far parts of your life have moved from who you really are
- Why waiting until suffering becomes unbearable makes meaningful change much harder
- The difference between taking responsibility for your life and blaming yourself for what has happened
- What Linda learned from supporting people approaching the end of their lives
- Why personal power is something we embody rather than something we perform
- The question that can move us from victimhood toward greater awareness and choice
