Having such an amazing business that fuels me I don’t get burned out because this is my creative expression, this is my soul’s expression
On being a boss
Everybody says I want to be a boss, well it starts by being the boss of yourself. And there’s a lot of things that you have to give up when you become the boss, you don’t have time to complain, because you’re too busy creating value for yourself and your other people… Being an employee comes with a certain attitude and a certain mindset. The minute you become a boss, you have to take radical responsibility for how you think, how you show up, the words that come out of your mouth, and even the day-to-day way that you spend your time.
On competition
I love having competition. Competition shows me that there’s a hungry market and there are people who are actively seeking solutions
On being a visionary
I struggled for many decades of my life. I fought against the status quo, and eventually it took having a nervous breakdown in corporate America, I basically had no choice but to become an entrepreneur! But had I known that my gifts of being able to see into the future and seeing possibilities that aren’t here yet, are rare and special and that it’s something that we need in our society and in our culture! I want to encourage you, if you are a visionary, to trust that vision that is coming through you regardless of what society says.
