Maitreya Buddha
Maitreya is the founder of the Uncommon Wisdom Coaching Institute and a teacher of self-realization, human behavior, and transformational psychology. Following a spontaneous kundalini awakening at age twenty-one, she devoted her life to understanding the underlying mechanisms that generate and sustain human suffering.
For more than two decades, Maitreya has worked with thousands of individuals worldwide, helping people address anxiety, depression, addiction, attachment patterns, and emotional suffering at their source. Her work integrates kinesiology, advanced psychological study, nervous system regulation, and non-dual awareness into a practical framework designed to create lasting change.
Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, Maitreya specializes in identifying the conditioned patterns through which suffering is maintained and teaching precise interventions that restore clarity, resilience, and self-awareness. Her core teachings, Instant Liberation and Triggered into Truth, point directly to the recognition of awareness beyond thought, emotion, and identity.
She is the author of Uncommon Wisdom, a work dedicated to bridging timeless spiritual insight with practical transformation in everyday life.
Professional Background & Training
At 21, a spontaneous kundalini awakening dissolved the sense of a separate self, revealing that the struggle sustaining human suffering is constructed rather than inherent. What appeared as identity, control, and personal history was revealed not as fixed reality, but as conditioned patterning – neurological, psychological, and perceptual processes that recursively generate and reinforce the illusion of a “self.” Over the past two decades, Maitreya has worked with thousands globally, addressing anxiety, depression, addiction, attachment and relational patterns at their root – where perception, conditioning, and nervous system responses intersect and reinforce one another. Her work focuses on identifying the mechanisms through which suffering is maintained, and interrupting them with precision.
Her approach integrates kinesiology and advanced psychological study with non-dual insight, bridging the physiology of the body, the structure of the mind, and the direct recognition of awareness into a single operational framework. This integration moves insight beyond concept into application, translating awareness into measurable shifts in behavior, emotional regulation, and cognitive clarity. She is the founder of the Uncommon Wisdom Coaching Institute, where practitioners are trained to move beyond symptom management into exact pattern recognition and intervention at the level where experience itself is generated.
Her work is grounded in self-realization and the uncompromising recognition of truth – not as belief or philosophy, but as the underlying and irreducible condition of existence, prior to and untouched by thought, emotion, or identity. In this, relative experience is understood without being mistaken for what is ultimately real. Her core teachings, Instant Liberation and Triggered into Truth, collapse the illusion of time within awakening, pointing directly to what is already free rather than deferring it into the future. She does not offer a path to become something else – only a clear recognition of what is already here.
What I'm Known For
Philosophy
My work is founded on a simple observation: human beings do not suffer because they are broken. They suffer because they mistake conditioned patterns, thoughts, emotions, and identities for who they truly are.
Much of what we call anxiety, fear, limitation, and conflict arises not from reality itself, but from the way reality is interpreted through layers of conditioning accumulated throughout a lifetime. When these patterns go unseen, they operate automatically and shape perception, behavior, and experience. When they are seen clearly, they begin to lose their grip.
My approach is to help people develop the capacity to observe these patterns with precision and honesty. This is not about adopting new beliefs, positive thinking, or becoming a different person. It is about recognizing what is already present beneath the noise of conditioning and learning how to relate to life from that deeper place.
I view lasting transformation as both practical and profound. It involves understanding the body, the nervous system, the mind, and the ways they interact, while also recognizing that awareness itself remains untouched by whatever passes through experience. When insight and embodiment come together, change becomes more than an idea—it becomes a lived reality.
Ultimately, my work is about helping people remember what has never been lost and discover a freedom that is available here and now.
