George Thorman, PCC
George Thorman, PCC, is a coach, mentor coach, facilitator, and trainer with more than 15 years of experience helping people navigate growth, healing, and self-discovery. Her path to coaching was anything but conventional. After studying film and directing an international film festival, a life-changing injury led her into a years-long exploration of healing, resilience, and human potential that ultimately became her life’s work.
Today, George combines her background in applied positive psychology with evidence-informed coaching, trauma-sensitive practices, and neurodiversity-informed support. As an ICF-accredited mentor coach, she trains and mentors coaches worldwide and created an accredited mentor coaching program that includes specialized training in neuro-informed coaching. She is also a ThetaHealing® Master Instructor who has facilitated more than 150 practitioner certification seminars, as well as a certified EFT Practitioner and Positive Intelligence Coach.
At the heart of George’s work is a fascination with the gap between what people consciously want and the patterns that shape how they actually live. She helps clients explore the beliefs, habits, identities, and nervous system responses that influence behavior, creating greater alignment between who they are, what matters to them, and who they are becoming.

What I'm Known For
Philosophy
One of the things I’ve learned after fifteen years of coaching is that most people aren’t stuck because they lack information. They often know exactly what they want. They know they need better boundaries, healthier habits, more rest, or a different direction entirely. Yet knowing and doing are rarely the same thing.
The reason is that behavior doesn’t happen in isolation. Our lives are the accumulated result of thousands of small actions, but those actions are shaped by what we believe is possible, what we believe we deserve, and what feels safe to our nervous system. We don’t simply act on our goals. We act from our identities, our habits, and the stories we’ve learned about ourselves along the way.
A person struggling with burnout may know they need stronger boundaries, but if they believe their worth comes from being needed, every boundary feels like a threat to their identity. Someone who wants to prioritize self-care may still neglect their own needs if a deeper part of them has learned that caring for others is what earns love, connection, or belonging.
That’s why my work focuses on more than goals, habits, or mindset alone. I’m interested in the relationship between beliefs, behavior, identity, and the nervous system. Whether the challenge is trauma, neurodivergence, stress, or limiting beliefs, lasting change becomes possible when our actions begin to align with what we genuinely want and who we are becoming.
