Biggest Challenge

I had to literally release to succeed and that was hard. I had to release to succeed and that was one of the most challenging times in my business….I call that season my surrender season because I had to give up everything that I thought I should be doing. All that amazing money. Because honestly, I could have gone anywhere else to another company, because the company I was working for was so reputable. It’s one of the number one medical device companies in the country, and I could have gone and made more money somewhere else, but I knew it was not where I was supposed to go. And so I was faced with the decision to go after the thing that I felt like I was being called to do, or stay stuck and sit in fear.

Words of Wisdom

On overcoming challenges

Just because you start to say yes to the thing that you feel like you’re called to do, and working towards achieving meaningful success, it doesn’t mean the journey’s going to be easy. It doesn’t mean it’s going to work the first time you do it. It doesn’t mean the first step you take is going to be it and you’re going to just land. You’ve got to know in your heart that what you’re doing is what you’re called to do and you’re willing to sacrifice, your willing to stay in it, you’re willing to commit to it, and go thought the ups downs and in-betweens until you get there.

On lessons learned from coaching

You can’t want success or growth for someone else more than they want it for themselves.

On dealing with knock-backs

A lot of people do one thing or they take one step and then they’re like, it didn’t work out, I’m over, I’m done. And then they run back to the thing that they don’t want to do, but it’s safe.

On staying focused

I believe a lot of people get caught up in trying to chase success, but it’s a superficial success. It’s a success that they see someone else achieving. They’re like oh “I’ve got the same skill as her, she’s making a lot of money, a ton of people are following her, she has great influence,I can go do that!”, but really you don’t even want to do that!

On comparing yourself

It’s ok to look up and admire other people and their growth and their success, but what is not ok is to start comparing yourself to them and where you’re not yet, or what you haven’t accomplished- yet, that’s dangerous.

On going for what YOU want

We say yes to everybody but are you willing to say yes to yourself?

Say yes to yourself, you deserve it, you’re worth it.

On Selling

Sales, people think it’s all about the sales process, but it’s part mindset, part sales process.

On believing in yourself and your value

You have to believe in what you do so much that you won’t shut up about it.
